All of our harps are made with solid spruce soundboards and native hardwoods. The lumber comes in the door straight from the mill, and we work it up to specific lengths and thickness, choosing the wood for the pillars and backs to match.

Some of the harp tops come from old piano soundboards, some from an instrument wood supplier. All tops are carefully selected and glued up, keeping in mind that it is the sound of the top and the shape of the sound box, as well as the strings that gives the harp its distinctive voice.
